Maximilian "MOOOXY" McGrath is an artist, choreographer, and all-around creative from Long Island, New York. Moooxy was seen on national television during the 2022 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade performing for the Australian artist known as Betty Who. He has also worked closely with Todd Sams to perform and dance with the artist, Yung Xavi. Moooxy worked closely with Yung Xavi, dancing, choreographing, and doing movement direction for two of Xavi's music videos, "Green" and "Baddie Girl." Moooxy trains closely under the internationally recognized choreographer Taylor Wickham and is currently getting paid to dance at her training facilities known as NITROGEN THE COMPANY, OXYGEN THE CONVENTION, and CARBON THE COLLECTIVE. With NITROGEN THE COMPANY, he has performed live with numerous artists and has been a choreographer and creative director on multiple projects for the company.
Beyond his training background, MOOOXY has created a community of artists named THE EXISTING DIFFERENCE. The group's ideology revolves around the idea that true artists simply exist differently. There is no “off switch” for creativity. Daily life is an art form. Creativity doesn’t only flow in a studio or in the act of creating. It flows in every single moment. THE EXISTING DIFFERENCE are thought leaders willing to be the difference, willing to express their ideologies and emotions in ways words are not capable of.
PROJECT LIAISON is a project MOOOXY is currently working on, connecting the new wave of underground rap artists to the dance industry.
With most mainstream rappers achieving massive success by incorporating movement artists into their music videos and performances, MOOOXY is bringing this lost art to an industry that has never received such training.
Through choreography, movement direction, and creative direction, MOOOXY is working with the artists who are already pushing the boundaries of music to start pushing the boundaries of what's possible in performance quality and art direction with movement.
